Meet the Staff

Dental Assistant

Amy can be found assisting Dr. Smith with many types of dental procedures, taking X-rays and impressions, and in general helping to create beautiful smiles! She brought ten years of experience with her when she joined our team in 2004, and we’re so glad to have her. Amy loves working with our amazing team of dental professionals who truly love and care for our patients.

Amy’s husband, Tom, is also in the dental field. They have two children and enjoy doing things as a family such as seeing movies, walking trails, and having family get-togethers!

Dental Assistant

JoJo began her dental assisting career in August after graduating from Metropolitan Community College, where she was the recipient of the Omaha District Dental Society Scholarship. She loves working with each patient, and enjoys the wonderful doctors and staff she works alongside each day and considers them part of her family.

After hours, JoJo enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She loves her puppy Princess and two cats, Brother and Lucy.

Dental Hygienist

Janelle has happily provided preventive hygiene and periodontal care to patients since joining our office in 1999. She likes getting acquainted with her patients, building trusting relationships with them, and seeing their before and after results. She especially loves seeing how excited people are when their dental health is restored! Janelle is very appreciative of Dr. Smith because he is a practicing Christian who is professional, skilled, compassionate, and very upbeat.

Janelle has been blessed with three daughters, a loving hubby, and a new puppy, Sophie. Singing at nursing homes with her church friends is a favorite activity for Janelle.

Dental Hygienist

Lisa provides gentle preventive care and periodontal treatment to patients, administers local anesthesia, and applies sealants to prevent dental decay. She joined our office in 1997. Lisa loves working with her patients, whom she thoroughly enjoys getting to know! She enjoys working with Dr. Smith because he has given her a place to practice dental hygiene to the best of her ability without compromising patient care or personal integrity.

Lisa is the married mother of a dear son and owner of a treasured Sheltie dog. She loves camping at the lake with her family as many weekends as possible!

Patient Coordinator and Business Manager

For the past 25 years, Susan has made sure our patients are contacted and scheduled for their regular dental care appointments, as well as kept a close eye on oversight of the business office. She loves the history she has with so many of our patients and considers them to be a big extended family. Most of all, Susan is thankful for the trust our patients have placed in our office. Susan loves working with her husband, Dr. Smith, as he is as caring and kind to his patients as he is to his family.

Susan loves her grandchildren, dogs, and children, though not particularly in that order! Gardening, reading, and volunteering add to her very full and busy life.

Kim has years of experience in the dental field, as well as other diverse business experiences. Her co-workers joke that Kim knows everybody in Omaha!

Kim is a dedicated runner, and also enjoys biking with family and friends.

In her spare time Mary enjoys camping with her family and spoiling her granddaughter!
